It’s just Jennie has become my personal quote. My mother hated nicknames so instead of naming me Jennifer, she went ahead and named me Jennie. Most of my life I have had to correct teachers and others when they called my name. They would assume that my name was really Jennifer and I would reply, “No, it’s just Jennie.” Of course this has become a part of my regular conversation now. My dad always called me “Just Jennie” because of this. So please don’t call me Jennifer!
I married Rich on June 6, 2009. We are now living in a small town in Louisiana where Rich is a pastor of a small church. I am trying to learn my new role as the pastor’s wife which is a role I never thought I would be in! I am sure my new married life will create some interesting blogs.
