I am currently sitting on my new couch watching GMA in the one finished room in our new house. I keep staring at the finished product wanting to just stay in this one room. The reality however is that I need to get up and start painting the trim in the guest room. And if only it stopped there! After the trim, the floor has to be put down. Then on to the kitchen where I have to do touch-ups and the baseboards and then the tile. Rich and I worked so hard yesterday that we could barley walk last night. I think I pulled a hamstring which makes it painful to sit or walk! We worked yesterday from 7am until about 9pm! I feel like an old women stumbling trough the house this morning.
But sitting here in this beautiful room makes me feel proud. We worked hard and now I have this incredible living room which gets me excited about the finished product of the entire house. We are going to have a beautiful house! I never knew Rich and I could put together such a fabulous room! And we have been so blessed by our church family. They seem to drop by at the perfect times to offer their help. We had three wonderful men stop by last night to help move funiture which was so nice. I was so worn out that I wasn’t sure that I could help Rich and turns out I didn’t have to!I promise as soon as I find the box with my camera cord, I will post our before/after pictures and pictures of our final days in the box!
No pics?
I am so happy for you guys!!!!!!
