Its gotta be the hair!

Today I am taking engagement pictures! I am so excited but I have been stressed out about finding the perfect outfit. We have been shopping for several weeks and I am actually wearing clothes that I already owned! I am such a girl! Fortunately, Rich is the most patient man in the world. He even booked me a hair appointment for this morning. My hair looked awful! I haven’t had it trimmed or highlighted since September and my roots were dark as night. I got an appointment at John Jays. When I lived here before that was my salon of choice. I was really excited about my hair appointment!

When I walked into the salon, I saw these hot stylist who were dressed edgy and cool. I was so excited to see which girl was going to do my hair. Just then an older lady who didn’t look so hip came and got me. She was not the stylist I was expecting! I was a little nervous about her fixing my hair but she turned out to be the sweetest lady I have ever met. She took her time with my hair making sure I was completely satisfied. While she was fixing my hair, this older stylist was staring at us and honestly I was uncomfortable. After she was done, He walked over and asked me to turn around and let him see my hair. It was then that I realized that he was the John Jay. He then continued to play with my hair and showed me how to flip my hair to make it look sexy. Every woman in the salon was staring at me at this point. I have to admit I felt extremely special! My hair stylist told me that I received a special treat to have the privilege of John Jay touching my hair. I guess I will consider this day a wonderful engagement present.
