I am sitting in Pensacola just waiting to see what will come of New Orleans after Hurricane Gustav moves on. We were all evacutated and now its just a waiting game. I keep thinking of things that I left in my dorm room that I wish I would have packed. I know they are just material things but the thought of losing my xbox is a little sad. I am praying that everything is fine and next Monday everything will be back to normal. Although that is what I am hoping for, I am trying to prepare myself for more changes. I think all of the people in New Orleans are thinking about what they will do if it is flooded again. I guess you can say that everyone is feeling a little anxiety as we try to be patient during this storm that we have had to be watching for like a week now.
But at least saturday was beautiful. I got to go the beach and you would have never known that a storm was coming. Yesterday was a little different, lots of wind. There was even a small sand storm that attacked as we were on the beach yesterday. We also get a few days off work. I guess that might be a plus. I am just hoping to have a job after this storm. I think we will be fine…happy thoughts, happy thoughts.
I hope every thing is fine. This is just one reason I live in the Midwest and not the South anymore. but then again we have our own weather issues up here called SNOW—YUCK!!!! Again I hope everything is fine.
