I am still in Florida just waiting on the email from the school saying we can start our journey back to New Orleans. The principal of the school I work on is suppose to call today and let me know when we will go back to work. All of this waiting can drive a person nuts! So I have tried to entertain myself this week. I have met friends for lunch, went shopping, got my hair done, (it’s blonde!) and spent time at the beach! Yes, I think it has turned into a vacation. I could really tell that the beach missed me. It missed me so much that the sand was flat and my parking lot was blocked off. I am not sure why the beach looked so bad except maybe the hurricane blew all of the sand around. But I still enjoyed it. I am almost done with my book. It has taken me all summer to read.
