Do you ever have one of those days where you wish you could just go back to sleep and start over? I had one of those days yesterday. It started off well, but I ended up climbing into my bed last night thinking, maybe I had an off day. One of my teenagers graduated from high school yesterday. The graduation ceremony was at four o’clock. Some reason, I had it in my head that I needed a jean skirt to wear to the graduation. My Uncle gave me some money for keeping the kids and I think it was burning a hole in my pocket! Usually, I love shopping. In fact, since I have lost weight I would shop everyday if I could afford it! But the problem was that I was keeping my BFF’s child for her. And she is a great child but shopping is not her idea of a good time. The whole shopping day was hectic and I never found exactly what I was looking for. Then to top it off, we were a few minutes late for the graduation. (Not that we missed anything important) Then, I couldn’t find the graduate in the huge crowd afterwards. We stood around for about 30 minutes searching for her but it was way too crowded. To make my day better, I might have made a bad decision (that I choose not to discuss) that made my BFF a little, maybe a lot upset with me. Then when I walk into my house, I find that there is a new roommate at my house, again. Sometimes, just when life seems to be getting exciting it gets messy. So I will spend my Friday trying to apologize to my BFF, entertaining her child for the day, and wondering if the new roommate will be staying at my house for the summer. And I still do not have the jean skirt that I was yearning for…I did buy shoes so maybe that will be my vice for the day.
I think that I will have to drop by The Drowsy Poet for a coffee, it seems to make me smile even when things aren’t going well. And I do have a softball game tonight. I think we might actually get to play, the weather is great today! So, life will be back to normal by tonight…I hope. Sorry, I needed to use this blog to vent a little. So to my BFF, if you ever read this blog, I am sorry that I am a stupid girl sometimes! And if my new roommate reads this, welcome home???Maybe?
So sorry about your day, Jennie. Your BFF is a pretty cool girl, and I know she loves you, so I’m sure that will work itself out. The roommate thing is inevitable…you live at the Bondurant boarding house…
. And I’m certain that the perfect jean skirt is out there somewhere, just waiting for you to find it. Good luck with the game tonight! Smash the other team’s face in…with the love of Christ, of course. 
Thanks Diana. You are right, I do have a really great BFF and I know that she loves me which is why she is upset with me. I know that it will be fine it just whomps for the moment. And I know I shouldn’t expect anything less than a new roommate every six months or so. Maybe I can start doing their laundry for an extra fee and earn more cash for my shopping addiction. We did smash the other teams face in…oh sorry Michael, I meant that in a loving way of course!

Ha Ha!!! All that is funny!! I am sorry you had a bad day on friday but I guess it was all better by the game that night because I surely couldn’t tell. I think I am going to tell Tom that he needs to place someone other than ICKY RICKY behind me in the batting order so that I can at least make it to like third base or something!! Well Hope you have an awesome week and I will see you thursday!!!
