I’m Back!!!

I know that all of you have been so bored at work because of my lack of blogging! Sorry! I have been gone for about nine days and simply found little time to get online. I left last Sunday after church with Jake and Diana. I took a workshop in NOLA for three days. It was actually a wonderful class. My dad actually paid for that workshop and I could honestly tell him it was the best $135 he has ever spent on me! The class was Children and Worship and I was not looking forward to it for reasons that will require it’s own blog but life is full of surprises! After Jake got off work on Wednesday, we drove to Kennesaw, GA to keep my cousins while my Aunt and Uncle took a short vacation. We had a great time. It was a vacation for us, a very cheap one! My Aunt has a little girl, Carson who is five and twin boys, Matthew and Christopher who are three. They kept me extremely busy! I am not sure how my Aunt Jane has so much energy! I think about 5:30 every morning, I had the two boys climbing into my bed. The boys talk “twin talk”. I am not sure if that is a real thing but they start talking to each other and we can’t understand them but they carry on a full conversation. We did some fun things with the kids. Every day we went swimming. In Kennesaw, every neighborhood has a community swimming pool. We also took the kids on a hike up Kennesaw Mountain and we visited a local park. Anyways, I had a wonderful trip and am glad to be back home.

Diana took some great pictures that I am sure she will post on her flicker account for you to see. Here a few pictures I took. The one with Jake driving my bug with the pink flower is my favorite. I figured that Rich might need to save that picture so when Jake makes fun of his bug, he can remind him that at least he doesn’t have a pink flower in his car! Oh yeah, We pulled up to Sonic and when the waitress walked up Jake quickly blurted out that this was his sister’s car and the waitress was like, yeah right. And then on the radio, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun began to play…It was so funny!
