Happy, happy, joy, joy

I am now officially 28 years old. Yuck! I had a great birthday even though I had to go to class and take a quiz. (Which I made a 100 on!) My morning started really early because I had to drive to NOLA but I got presents from my parents before my departure so it wasn’t as bad as usual. Of course I got a couple of early b-day calls from Tia and Amanda. They are such great friends! When I arrived in NOLA I was welcomed by a b-day banner that Diana and Jake made for me. It was so sweet! Then Jake, Diana, Nikki, and myself went to Slice for dinner. We were originally going to eat dinner at O’Henry’s because you get free steak on your b-day. Most of you may know that I am not a huge steak fan but I figured it was free. Well, I had been craving pizza for the last two weeks so I convinced them that Slice was a better option. It really wasn’t hard to convince them, I think they were all more excited about it too! I had an awesome calzone!  Then Diana suggested PJ’s for coffee. I love PJ’s but they all hate it. I think they enjoyed it  a lot last night because I was quite entertaining! I spilled my coffee all over my shirt. Of course it happened a little here and a little there until my white shirt seemed to have some type of pattern. I am so clumsy! 

Anyways, I had a great birthday. I got a really fun card from Diana, who is always so creative! It is my favorite card so far! I got a duct tape purse from my parents and I think it is so fun! Nikki gave me a starbucks gift card which will be awesome every Thursday on my way to NOLA. And my parents and the staff gave me money so I can get my hair done. Oh and my BFF gave me a month of tanning! So  this summer I will have cuter hair, a tan body, energy from coffee, and a fun purse. What more can a girl ask for! Thank you all for the B-day wishes and cards. I have so many wonderful people in my life and I love you all!
