I had a wonderful V-day! Diana cooked a wonderful meal for us. Then we ate this wonderful Diet Soda Cake that is now my favorite dessert ever! After dinner Jake, Diana, Nikki, and me went to Loyola University for a Jazz Concert. The college has a cafe called the Underground and they host special music. We got to see a NOLA local perform. Her name was Germaine and boy was she getting down! It was actually a lot of fun and I feel very cultured now. The only bad part was the sound system. It was terrible. I couldn’t understand her when she was speaking because it was so low and muffled. Also, Nikki bought me a wonderful V-day gift! She always finds the cutest gifts that can only bring a smile to my face. So no romantic Valentine’s Day this year, but it was a wonderful day to spend with people that I adore.
